AI is being used extensively in web development. Web developers are giving instructions to AI and AI is writing the code within 1 minute, which is what AI is being used for in web development. For example:-
- Code Generate Tools:- ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Replit, Ghostwriter Developers are working on their own using these popular AI tools. These AIs can easily write code by giving instructions for programs like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Design Suggestions:- AI integration with Figma or Adobe XD suggests designs, using AI without code to determine what the website design will be.
- SEO Optimization: AI is used to automatically make website content SEO friendly.
- Bug Fixing:- If a developer makes a mistake and pastes that mistake into their code, AI can easily dictate the bug and suggest a solution.
So is the Future bleak for Developers?
If after reading the above points you think that AI is doing everything from writing code to SEO. And if you think that AI can replace web developers, the answer is no, AI cannot completely replace developers. AI automates many tasks for websites, website problem solving skills and user experience design, in which case a developer is needed.
But AI can do many things in web development and some things it can’t do, like you can easily do basic landing page creation, repetitive code writing, web page SEO and bug fixing using AI. But apart from that, the things it can’t do are advanced design AI can only do basic to medium design for you but if you want to design well then you will need a developer. How can your client fulfill his work and needs only a developer can do. Most importantly if you want to do a boro scale project management then AI can’t do this work in which case a developer is needed.

- Communication and Teamwork:- If a project is given to a team, a developer can work as part of the team, but AI cannot. A developer does not just write code, he has to discuss the project with the team a lot and decide which team will work on which section and what to do. In this case, communication plays a very important role.

- Don't consider AI as your enemy, make it your ally and use it in your development work to develop some of your own skills.
- There are many AI tools, learn about them and use them. For example (ChartGip, Copilot, DeepSeek etc.)
- If you want to be a best developer then create projects. The more projects you create, the more your skills will grow. You will want more and more real projects (like:- clones, animation websites, restaurant websites and many more). Keep creating popular websites.
- Keep in mind that the better the design of your website, the more users will visit your website and if you can make a project for a client, you will be able to earn a good amount of income. And you will improve your communication skills in the case of clients.
